Two component structural sealant

YXH-8018 two-component structural sealant (hereinafter referred to as YXH-8018) is a two-component neutral room temperature curing, high elasticity, high modulus sealant, which has good adhesion to most building materials.

Product Features

High elasticity, high modulus, high strength.

Excellent high and low temperature resistance, resistance to atmospheric aging, and UV resistance.

Neutral rapid curing, non-corrosive to bonded materials, environmentally friendly.

The product meets the requirements of GB24266-2009.

Applications

Mainly used for structural assembly of concealed frame curtain walls, structural bonding of insulating glass, and other bonding and sealing applications.

Usage Instructions

Surface cleaning: To ensure good adhesion of the structural adhesive, the surface of the adhered material must be clean, dry, oil-free, and dust-free. It is recommended to use a clean, lint-free white cloth for wiping. Solvents such as anhydrous alcohol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and xylene can be used.

Protective tape: In order to ensure that the sealant does not contaminate the seam during construction, protective tape must be used to cover the seam, and the protective tape must be removed within 5 minutes after construction is completed.

Mixing of the adhesive: A dual-component adhesive mixer should be used for mixing, with a mixing ratio of A:B=12:1~14:1 (by weight).

Limitations

Frosted or damp surfaces; materials that exude oil stains, plasticizers, or solvents; sulfurized or semi-sulfurized rubber.
